Our client brief for this eatery in Tromso, Norway was to create a small oasis of brightness in the sometimes long and dreary northern days and nights. As an added requirement the client asked that we make the space insta-photogenic a new, but often occurring request nowadays. We approached the design with a concept to create a decor with bright, warm tones using marble, brass and gold toned mirrors as well as natural and warm textures and a lot of greenery, something which the city lacks due to the harsh climate.
